Fala Woods K9 Training and Developmental Center presents: Alberto Prata Schutzhund Seminar:
Date: June 23 and 24, 2007
Location: Crawford County, Robinson Illinois area (exact location will be determined shortly)
Cost: $100 per person (limit to a total of 12 handlers, as the seminar is geared to spending as much time with each handler and their dog/s as possible)

History and Accomplishments:
- Born in Brazil in 1966, Alberto's parents moved to Germany when he was 1 year of age. He first started training in 1977 and at 11 became a helper in HWV (all breed Schutzhund club) Schopfheim. At 12 yrs got his first GSD and at the age of 13 titled this dog to a Sch 1.
- From 13yrs - 17yrs, he titled 4 GSDs to Sch3, 1 boxer to Sch1 and 2 additional GSDs to BH.
- At the age of 18, he moved to HWV Hausen and was head trainer until 2005. This club under Alberto's guidance started with 1 dog and grew to having over 55 dogs within the club in 5 short years.
Teacher:
Alberto trained many students that advanced to national competition levels.
- Two of his students took two individual Rottwielers to the Rottweiler Nationals . Two students to youth Sch championships . Two students to Howarvart nationals . Five students to FH tracking nationals . Two students to DVG nationals.
Decoy/Helper:
- Held: DVG helper pass
- ADRK helper pass
- Howarvart helper pass
- Malinois instructor pass
- SWHV Cheif helper
- Was helper for Godfried Dildie, Hartmut Teschke (ADRK), Monika Buche(DVG), as well as several other notarized judges and trainers. . Helper for Malinois and Rottweiler Korungs and ZTP
Breeder:
- Alberto has been currently breeding Malinois for the past 10 years under the kennel prefix name of Fon den Unbesteschlichen.
- Multiple Schutzhund titled dogs with high scores; Police Service and Agility.
Seminars:
- Has conducted several helper seminar throughout Germany and to date has held 4 seminars in Ontario, Canada.
Alberto Prata recently moved from Germany and currently resides in southern Ontario, Canada. He is currently the head trainer for the Southern Ontario Working Group. As you can see from Alberto's resume he is an accomplished expert in Schutzhund. Alberto is best known for his helper work and as a teacher who truly understands that each handler and dog is unique and that everyone has different goals in mind. He is very patient with everyone and will spend the needed time to help an individual and their dog excel. As well, unlike some trainers, Alberto enjoys working with various breeds and finds the work both challenging and exciting.
