Not all k-9 training is the same. Fala Woods Canine Training And Developmental Center has been a pioneer in the industry since 1996. What sets Fala Woods aside from other training and behavior schools is our broad understanding of all dogs.

In the last 20 plus years, Jon Naroditsky has had the privilege to work with just about every breed out there and with mixes of many combinations.

Working under other established facilities and being mentored by true canine professionals, gave Jon Naroditsky the necessary knowledge that was obtained from working dogs for all facets of k-9 training. Specializing in, but not limited to, aggressive behavior of problematic dogs, personal protection, police k-9 and scent detection.

Opening the doors of Fala Woods in 1996 was very rewarding to us. We started as a small private training program that primarily concentrated on group classes and house calls. Today our practices expand into in-house boarding and training and classes held in our private indoor training hall at our facility (link to address for fwk-9)

What makes our school unique is our home like atmosphere that can be used to emulate a home environment for not only teaching basic obedience and manners, but to also train in a realistic life-like theater of building searches, narcotics detection, and personal protection. Our training hall is also outfitted with a dormitory setting for the out of towners.

Over the years our program has grown to be able to offer started k-9's for not only law enforcement or personal protection use but also for family companion.

As our training is unique, so is the equipment we feel we need. A good part of our time is spent developing and improving leather leashes, collars, harnesses, tugs, etc...

One thing that has not changed is our dedication and integrity that we have to our students and clients. Our customer service is like no other in the professional canine industry.

The school also has a clean comfortable rustic living quarters for all out of town or out of country cliental. The dormitory is capable of housing 8 plus adults with full bathroom, kitchen, computer room, living room, and recreation/game room. Among a master bedroom and two dorms, the school will also comfortably accommodate our student’s dogs indoors with them where they belong.

We hope to have our confidence coarse completed some time in the summer of 2007. . We also have 15 acres of tracking fields as well as 15 acres of woods of various density for area searches.

The outdoor grounds has a clean stocked pond for our students recreational purposes. The shallow beach area is used to condition dogs physically and to work on water skills. As stability around noise and gunfire is a must, we also have access to an outdoor shooting range.
